My goal is to help you learn the tools and skills to manage and maintain your mental health.

"How can I help you?"

I can relate to many of your experiences.   Because of faith, self help, professional help, and loving and secure relationships, I am able to be content and thrive in life.   My traumatic experiences as a child, adolescent, and young adult  continue to provide insight, wisdom, strength, and a pathway to help others.  Obtaining a Master's Degree in counseling and then becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. These credentials, coupled with my life experience, give me the knowledge and skills to offer help to you in a professional setting.

It is not for others to decide how traumatic an experience was to you.   If you have experienced trauma or adverse situations, I can help in many ways.  I am trained in EMDR and other modalities.  EMDR is a unique form of therapy to reduce the effects and symptoms of trauma and the negative feelings and thoughts that show up in our current lives and relationships.

I specialize in trauma recovery and the disorders that can develop from trauma like PTSD, anxiety, and depression.  I also have a lot of experience helping clients adjust to life transitions like grief and loss, and recovery from addiction and substance dependency.

Every person's needs are different.   Every person is unique. There are too many kinds of therapy to describe. Together we will figure out which works the best for you.  I can't say that I am an expert of all methods, however, I can say that I will do my best to help you or at the very least, help you find another clinician who might be a better fit for you.

Mission statement:

Providing a safe space to heal, recover, and thrive.
